Do you wish your band was achieving more than it is?

Would you like to know how other bands operate behind the scenes?

For those wanting to better their music endeavours, new and established bands alike, Claim The Throne’s hot and hung duo Cabba & Ash are here to help and bring their DIY musician podcast to life!

You are invited to join the very first session to learn and contribute on all aspects of bandlife from writing and recording, management and marketing, touring and networking, and everything in between.

Cabba Presents

Self-Booking a gig for you band: A journey through every step of the process from planning, booking, unique promotion ideas and organising things properly. Hear about the rippin skills you can learn and how it can lead to bigger and better things.

Cabba has 10+ years experience taking Claim The Throne from jamming in the bedroom to drunkenly stumbling across international stages. This has involved booking local gigs & international tours, extensive promo, website creation, digital distro and all sorts of online & offline ventures.

Ash Presents

Preparing your band for recording: Whether you’re at home or in the studio, the RIGHT preparation will see that your recording sounds great, saving you more money for booze. Covering topics like good rehearsal practices, tempo maps and guide tracks, getting your instruments in order, tone & sounds for all instruments, DIY vs studio or both, and all sorts of gear talk.

Ash has been recording since he was a kid both as a musician and as an engineer. He has become the defacto guy in Claim The Throne handling tracking and mixing duties, and has a wealth of experience in a bunch of different recording situations from as ghetto as it gets, all the way to fully decked out analogue wonderlands.

Schnitzels, Steins & Steel is a very special event for the Perth Heavy Metal community to come together and share a long table communal dining experience with each other whilst enjoying German beer hall vibes with a specially selected menu of food & beers, live music from 2 of Perth’s most popular acts, a DJ playing all your favourite songs; but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation and some fun and games with some wonderful hosts.

Special guest Amos from Amos Feeds Perth will be one of our hosts for the evening and he is no stranger to a good time at a pub or festival. Amos will be running competitions and give some lucky people the chance to win awesome prizes, adding to the excitement of the night.

Our favourite DJ, Cam Crimson from RTRFM 92.1 Critical Mass is in the house again and will be spinning your favourite tracks and encouraging us all to sing along with our drinks and horns held high!

Long lost Perth bards Claim The Throne have been dragged out of the deep woods to perform their first all-acoustic set in 7 years! These hermits will strum a few sing-along tales during the feast to bring alive the tavern vibes and summon the inner savage in us all.

After dinner has settled let’s push those tables back to make some room on the floor and get yourself up for Power Metal stalwarts Silent Knight who are no strangers to enjoying the German Heavy Metal culture. Tonight, they will be performing a special set of cover songs and rarely played deep cuts from their full discography which will be sure to please newcomers and die-hard fans of the band.

Tickets are strictly limited to 100 so get in quick!

Doors open 6pm Saturday 06 April Milk Bar Inglewood (Civic Hotel)
